NIMN appoints Sado as Registrar as Sidney Ogodo retires

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, NIMN has appointed Patience Sado as Registrar effective from May, 2023, following the attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 60 years by Sidney Ogodo, the out-gone Registrar.

According to the marketing Institute, Sidney Ogodo who was appointed acting Registrar in 2014 and confirmed as the substantive Registrar in 2015 by the then Governing Council has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the marketing body with over a decade of service in roles which comprise capacity building, membership, examination, and as Head of Administration.

Commending his great strides and sense of duty over the years, the Institute stated: “We are grateful for the sacrifice and appreciate his sense of duty and commitment to the NIMN”.

Ms. Patience Sado who takes over as the new Registrar is an astute marketing professional. She is a full member of the Institute and an active member of the Warri Chapter where she serves as secretary.

As an Assistant Chief Officer (Training) at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, Delta State, she is a strong contributor and member of the NIMN Examination, Education, and Accreditation Committee.

Ms. Sado is expected to bring her wealth of experience to enhance the operation of the Institute.
