Nimbus Media, a leading digital Out-Of-Home (OOH) advertising company has announced that entries to participate in its aid project which aims to provide free advertising to start-ups particularly women-owned businesses has ended with five hundred and eighty- seven entries received.

Speaking to MARKETING EDGE, Olawale Adegoke, Chief Executive Officer, Nimbus stated that the grand finale of the  “Nimbus Aid Project” will hold on the 25th of November at the prestigious Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to him, the initiative which will be providing 2 million worth of free advertising on its LED screen across the country is geared to support small business owners who lack the required resources to access such exposure for their businesses.

“We are working with partners who are well versed in this field to choose 20 finalists but will reward only 10 finalists. So those finalists will be showcased on our site and there will be opportunities for people to vote. The public will vote for the ten organisations and each will receive N2 million in airtime on the Nimbus network to promote their product and business”.

“The value is considerably more than N2 million because of the exposure and impact on their business” he added

Entries for the 2022 Nimbus Aid Project which was known as “Nominate a Charity” started on September 21, 2022, and ended on October 5, 2022.

Out of the 600 entries received, 20 finalists will be selected from the first phase and the eventual 10 winners will be chosen through a public vote that will be announced later.

The Nimbus Aid Project is being executed in collaboration with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), TechCabal, and MARKETING EDGE magazine which will join a group of judges to select deserving beneficiaries of the project.
