Nigeria's Emeka Okeke on Loeries Awards Judging Panel

Nigeria’s Emeka Okeke is one of the specialist panels comprised of leaders in their fields charged with the responsibility to determine the winning entries for the 38th Loeries Awards now holding in Durban, South Africa.

Okeke who is the CEO Media Fuse Dentsu Aegis Network, one of Nigeria’s biggest media independent agencies,
is one of the panel of regional and international thought leaders that has the daunting task to seek out the bold and innovative work that challenges convention. The DStv Seminar of Creativity, ends Judging Week.

Judging is one of the main events held during Loeries Creative Week, especially for entrants into the awards. The 2016 Loeries Judging hold at the Durban ICC during Creative Week Durban preceding the awards ceremonies, from Mon 15 – Thurs 18 August.

A number of Nigerian agencies have entered in for the awards, and some of them including X3M Ideas, Insight Communications, Media Fuse Dentsu Aegis Network and Noah’s Ark are already on ground in Durban for the creative festival.

This year’s Loeries is attracting more than usual attention from the Nigerian advertising community because of the growing profile of the award.

Organised by the Loerie Awards Company NPC, a non-profit company rewarding excellence in the brand communications industry, the award has grown from merely being a South African affair to a global outfit.
