Nigeria has many talents, says Facebook boss

Facebook Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mark Zuckerberg, has said that Nigeria has so many talented ICT developers and entrepreneurs in the country.
Zuckerberg who is on his first visit to Nigeria, said that he was excited to meet with some of the talented young ICT professionals in the country.
Since his arrival in the country, he had visited the Yaba Technology hub in Lagos, where he met with ICT developers and partners, and possibly explore the Nollywood market

Zuckerberg who first visited the Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB), known as the Silicon Valley of Nigeria in Yaba, Lagos, where he interacted both with kids at ‘Summer of Code Camp and entrepreneurs at the hub who came to build and launch their apps.
Zuckerberg wrote in his Facebook post: “Lagos! This is my first trip to sub-Saharan Africa. I’ll be meeting with developers and entrepreneurs, and learning about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria. The energy here is amazing and I’m excited to learn as much as I can.”

At CcHub Zuckerberg met with developers like Temi Giwa, who runs a platform called Life Bank (http://www.LifeBank.ng) that makes blood available when and where it is needed in Nigeria. Life Bank saves lives by mobilizing blood donations, taking inventory of all blood available in the country, and delivering blood in the right condition to where it is needed.
