Microsoft to unveil Windows 10 devices on 6 October

Microsoft has announced that Tuesday, October 6 they are going to share some news about Windows 10 devices. The event is going to be held in New York City where the company may show its lineup of new devices running Windows 10. The company hasn’t said much about the ‘mysterious’ event except those hints of the previously mentioned Windows 10 hardware.

Source said the new devices to be launched include Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, two Surface tablets that includes the Surface Pro 4 and Microsoft Band 2. Most likely, the new smartphones are the highlight as they are the first to run the company’s Windows 10 Mobile. The two high-end phones have been codenamed Cityman (Lumia 950 XL) and Talkman (Lumia 950).

There won’t be much difference in the Surface Pro 4 as compared to its Pro 3 since Microsoft has promised a similar charging mechanism and general form for both. However, the company might increase size and resolution and make the latest model lighter and thinner. There were also rumors that the giant company plans on providing a support for Pro 4.

Likewise, specifications and features for other Windows 10 devices are yet to leak. All of the Windows 10 hardware at the event will likely be ready to go on sale in time for the holiday shopping season. Thus, some people are talking about a 14-inch version of the Pro 4 or there might be a bigger-sized device to add to the lineup.
