Media Edge in Strategic Relationship with Essential Group

Nigeria’s fast growing Public Relations and Marketing consultancy services company, Media Edge has entered into a strategic business relationship with Essential Group, one of the fastest growing media establishments in Nigeria.

The partnership, which takes immediate effect, was recently consummated in Lagos after both companies agreed on terms for the year long relationship and signed a memorandum of understanding to that effect.

By this agreement, Media Edge is now the official marketing consultant to Essential Group. And this undertaking covers all the three publications published by the Ikoyi based company as well as other advocacy programmes organized by the group annually.

Speaking after the signing of the MoU, John Ajayi, CEO of Media Edge expressed excitement about the new development adding that Media Edge would immediately deploy its rich marketing experience to strategically position the Essential Group brand for maximum impact both socially and economically.

“Media Edge has a track record of marketing excellence and we are excited because we are working with a company that is driven by excellence and dedicated to social change. That is why we are inspired by this partnership and we have no doubt in our minds that we shall surpass the goals we have set for ourselves,” he said.

The three special interest publications under the stable of Essential Group are Essential Woman, Essential Interiors and Essential Traveller. The quarterly publications each has an established print run of tens of thousands and online circulation of over 100, 000 copies covering Nigeria, Ghana and other countries in the West Africa sub region.

Media Edge will also serve as Marketing Consultant to Women in Business, a leading advocacy platform established by the group to cater for the social, political and economic concerns of women. The advocacy group which has over the years grown into a formidable voice for women in Nigeria has been at the vanguard for improved government policies, by encouraging the ethical standards for business success as well as networking and mentorship opportunities.
