MARKETING EDGE on TV hosts LCCI tomorrow

Foremost marketing and advertising television program, MARKETING EDGE on TV will host the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI tomorrow on TVC News DStv Channel 418 at 12:30pm and WAP TV at 8pm.

Representatives of the body who will speak at the interview are the Vice-President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Trade Promotion Board, Leye Kupoluyi and the Director General/ Chief Executive officer of the Chamber, Dr. Chinyere Almona.

This interview will give insights into this Year’s edition of the Information, Communication, Technology and Telecommunications, ICTEL Expo and how the SMEs, young entrepreneurs and the business community can leverage the event to grow their businesses.

They will also speak about the achievements of the Chamber over the last 134 years contributing to the economic growth of the country by fostering national and international integration through advocacy, capacity building, creation and facilitation of commercial and industrial opportunity, provision of business development and services and observance of the highest standard of business ethics.

Dr. Chinyere Almona is the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the foremost Chamber of Commerce in the region. She is a governance professional with vast global experience in establishing standards and enhancing investment opportunities for companies.

Leye Kupoluyi is the Vice-President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI and Chairman, Trade Promotion Board of the Chamber. He is the Vice- Chairman, National Action Committee, Technology Advancement Group under the auspices of the Nigerian Society of Engineer (NSE and NACCIMA) member, Nigerian Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, (NACCIMA) member, Business ethics and Arbitration Committee of NACCIMA. He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Universal Power Systems Nigeria Limited which commenced operations in 1995.

Dr. Almona has about thirty years of diversified experience in various roles. She founded Vantage Governance Services with an extensive professional network across Africa. She led the Africa Corporate Governance Program of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which provided a wide range of corporate governance reforms across thirteen (13) African countries. Before joining the IFC, Dr. Almona was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading the Corporate Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Practice, which she established.
