Lions Live to return in October to support global creative community

Following an incredible response to LIONS Live, Cannes Lions says it will be back this October, 19 – 23, with a new week of learning to support the global creative community.

According to the Managing Director of Cannes Lions, Simon Cook, this time around, people can expect a week of upskill-ing opportunities built to impact careers and drive creative and business excellence.

“Thanks once again to everyone who joined us in June. Nearly 70,000 people came together to think about the future. During the next edition of LIONS Live, we’ll show you how to apply creativity for immediate impact…from inspiration to application.

“You can expect tools and practical insights to help us face a changed world, across five themed days: Culture & Leadership; Creative Effectiveness; and Capabilities & Processes; as well as two days of Creativity in Action,” he said.

He continued: “We spoke to the community and they told us that they’d like to experience and learn from more behind-the-scenes case studies on Lion-winning ideas. So, from 19-23 October, we’ll bring you an insider’s view of creativity, with unprecedented access to the ideas, thinking and minds behind some of the world’s most successful work.

“The teams behind Grand Prix and Gold Lion-winning work, including McCann Tel Aviv & IKEA’s ‘ThisAbles’, Impact BBDO Dubai’s ‘The Blank Edition’ and Virtue Copenhagen’s ‘AdDress the Future’, join us at LIONS Live to share honest accounts of how their work came to light or, in some cases, almost didn’t.”

Cook asked the global creative community to tune in for a week of constructive advice from creative and marketing legends from across the globe, adding that LIONS Live will be available to take part in, for everyone for free.
