Lagos NIPR appoints John Ehiguese as Chairman Training and Education Committee

For growth and repositioning, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Chapter, has appointed John Ehiguese, Chief Executive Officer of Mediacraft Associate as the Chairman Training and Education Committee to develop and implement trainings master class programmes for members’ professional development.

The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated 17 January 2022 and signed by the chairman of Lagos NIPR, Comfort Nwankwo.

According to the Lagos NIPR, Mr. Ehiguese was chosen base on his wealth of experience that is close to 30 years’ in the field of public relations and communications. He is a consummate professional that has contributed immensely to the development of PR in Nigeria. This is also in recognition of Mr. Ehiguese’s leadership, passion for and contributions to the advancement of quality education and training for communications professionals in the country.

The agency boss expressed his appreciation for the appointment even as he promised to put in his best to help strengthen the Institute’s training and master class programmes. “I am deeply honoured to be appointed to head such a critical committee. I am confident that as a committee, we will put in our best to further strengthen the Institute’s training and education programmes”.

Mr. Ehiguese is the Founder and Managing Director of Mediacraft Associates, a full-service Public Relations and Integrated Brand Communications consultancy firm operating from Lagos, Nigeria. The agency prides itself in providing bespoke Communications solutions to a discerning clientele.

Since opening shop in September, 2003, it has grown steadily to become one of the leading PR firms in Nigeria, with a staff strength of twenty (20) full-time employees by December, 2017.
