Jumia ushers in Grammy winner, Lauryn Hill to Nigeria

Nigeria’s number one online retailer, Jumia Nigeria is offering a life-time live concert as it makes available online tickets to usher in the iconic Grammy award winner, Lauryn Hill to Nigeria in September.

Lauryn Hill is set to return to Nigeria, four months after she was unable to appear in the country for an earlier booked show. The Fugees first lady cancelled her visit to Nigeria, scheduled for May this year but took to Facebook to give her unreserved apologies to Nigerians. This has further increased the anticipation for the concert and a rush for the tickets.

The event will be held at the Eko Hotel & Suites and will feature superstars like Tu Face, Iyanya, Capital Femi, Tekno, Seyi Shay, Victoria Kimani, Yemi Alade, Banky W, Sound Sultan, Patoranking, Di’ja, DIL, Aramide with tuneful sounds from the COOL DJ Jimmy Jatt and the host of the day, no other than the hilarious Basket Mouth, all performing alongside Lauryn Hill.

‘The Fugees’ first lady will also be singing alongside Seun and Femi Kuti at the African shrine on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

She will also be performing her hit songs like her duet with the notorious Bob Marley ‘Turn your lights down low’, ‘Ex factor’, ‘Nothing even matters’ and her famous album, ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ which is a combination of R&B, hip hop, soul reggae and neo soul.
