FrieslandCampina appoints Joe-Ezigbo as independent Non-Executive Director

Nigeria’s foremost dairy company, FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc., has appointed Audrey Joe-Ezigbo as an independent Non-Executive Director. Audrey currently sits as the Deputy Managing Director of Falcon Corporation Limited, a company she co-founded with her husband in 1994.
As a seasoned entrepreneur with expertise across various fields, she is poised to help FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria achieve a robust positioning as well as strengthen its market performance across the board.
Announcing the landmark appointment on her Linkedin page, Joe-Ezigbo said: “So grateful to God for my appointment as an independent Non-Executive Director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc. You know how every cola drink became Coke, every detergent became Omo and so on? Well in my household, every form of milk is ‘PEAK’, except that in our case, it was literally so.
“Such a delight to have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a brand I grew up with and which my own children also grew up with; and to work with an incredible team of men and women on the Board and Management of FCW to expand the reach and impact of all our other exceptional brands.”
Joe-Ezigbo believes her mandate is to help entrepreneurs, particularly entrepreneurial couples, build sustainable businesses across Africa.
The former Wimbiz Chair is a Certified Transformational Coach and member of the International Coaching Federation as well as an author of four books. She was formerly the president of Nigeria Gas Association.
Her track record in entrepreneurial and industry expertise has accorded her several distinguished recognitions in form of prestigious awards and appointments from notable bodies such as the Lagos Business School Distinguished Alumni Award 2018; Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year West Africa Award 2014; Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Award, and 1st female President of Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) and many others.
She holds an MBA in Marketing from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, another MBA in Business Administration and Management, Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University and Leadership from Harvard Business School.
