DigiClan marks 5th anniversary, set to hold annual conference

Africa’s largest community of digital professionals, DigiClan, has today announced the next edition of their annual conference now known as DigiClan Connect and themed “Digital: From Earth to Mars”

DigiClan Connect is a gathering of digital professionals across tech, advertising and product, discussing the emergence of new technology and constant changes in consumer behaviour, and how it has become essential to remain connected and utilize available data to continue to drive growth across all digital channels.

Riding off the popular “to the moon🚀” catchphrase, Earth represents the present and Mars represents the future. DigiClan Connect ‘22 will provide a closer look into what digital means right now and what it could possibly become.

The conference is set to hold Saturday, 10th of December, 2022 at the Zone Tech Park, Gbagada, Lagos by 10 am.

“This is DigiClan’s fifth year and I’m excited that this is happening because we haven’t had the opportunity to gather together like this for a couple of years now. A community can’t be sustained by being completely virtual, we still need that human connection where everyone gets to put a face to the names they interact with. At Digiclan Connect this year, we will share ideas, learn from each other and engage while welcoming new members and rewarding those who have contributed significantly to the community this year,” said Pelumi Oyetimein, DigiClan President.

The conference offers three sessions that tackles major industry issues with key insights delivered by top industry leaders and experts across different industries. Attendees will have access to networking, mentorship, hands-on training, and branded items as well as a chance to market their business to a large audience.

This conference will address the future of marketing and how individuals & businesses can tap into this future with a Keynote address delivered by Yetunde Adesina, CEO PrimaGarnet. Other confirmed speakers at the conference include Olumide Akinsola, Co-founder and Group VP Marketing & Growth, QuickBus; Oluwasola Obagbemi, Corporate Communications Manager, Anglophone West Africa, Meta; Harrison Obi; Michael Owatunde, Head of Marketing, Kwik; Omokehinde Thomas, Business Lead, REDWOLF; Nishita Devanand, Founder, NAVI Africa; and Nnamdi Okafor of Nestcoin.

Founded in 2017, DigiClan is a tribe of Marketing and Tech Professionals who have built an Africa-wide community where they share the latest trends and insight, connect with fellow digital marketers and leverage massive opportunities together. With chapters in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana, DigiClan is a recognised community by Google, Facebook and LinkedIn.
