Innocent Osikheme Oboh – a well-rounded marketing communication consultant
Innocent Osikheme Oboh, a.k.a Inspektor is the President and CEO of DIJO Group. He is a force to reckon with in the integrated marketing communication industry in Nigeria and Africa.
Inspektor, as he is fondly called by colleagues in the industry and staff, can be described as a well-rounded marketing communication consultant. He started his career as a journalist before he joined Nigeria’s foremost advertising agency, Insight Publicis. He moved to SO&U, another high flying advertising agency where he worked on renowned and ground-breaking campaigns.
After spending some years in agencies with laudable achievements to his credit, Innocent moved to the clients, side, starting with Guinness Nigeria Plc., where he worked as the Brand manager, Malta Guinness.
After a successful career in Guinness Nigeria Plc., he moved to MTN Nigeria, and was the MTN Master Brand Manager where he transformed the face of the brand. He, at his time, churned out great TV/Radio ads.
To further broaden his experience, he moved to Intercontinental Distillers (IDL) where he occupied the Head of Marketing Office. While there, he set a standard by his “Midas touch” on the flagship brand, Chelsea and other brands such as Action Bitters, Veleta, Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and others.
He obviously left his footprint at IDL as some of his contemporaries and colleagues in the industry cannot but allude to his stellar performance on the brands.
In his quest to drive Nigeria’s economy forward through strategic, creative and innovative business solutions, he founded DIJO Group, a multi business conglomerate that provides
world-class strategic marketing communications solutions across advertising, media buying and planning, OOH, Events & Experiential marketing, sales activations and New media.
The companies in this group include: DIJO Communications, MediaDive, MediaStretch, DIJO Events and Experiential Marketing (DEEM), Capricorn Events, DigiNinja Technologies, DIJO Petroleum, Emesomie Ventures, Mgus Cinema (Calabar), DIJO Farms and Raymond & Eunice Memorial Hospital.
Innocent Oboh is a serial, successful entrepreneur, seasoned marketing strategist, Journalist, Farmer and lover of Nature. He is married to Susan Oboh and they are blessed with four kids.
