Lagos Business School concludes intensive ‘Innovate to Disrupt’ workshop

Lagos Business School (LBS), known for its leadership in executive education, recently concluded a transformative programme titled ‘Innovate to Disrupt’.
The programme, which was held under the Lagos Business School Tech-Leap initiative and facilitated by Olu Akanmu, CEO, Board of Advisors, and a team of facilitators, empowered participants with tools and strategies for creating disruptive innovations in their respective industries.
According to Akanmu who posted the update on his LinkedIn page, the three-day intensive workshop attended by business leaders, entrepreneurs and executives covered a broad range of topics designed to foster ideas and actionable strategies.
Some of the subjects undertaken by participants include: Fundamentals of Disruptive Innovation and Case Studies, Design Thinking for Successful Disruptive Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship for Disruptive Innovation.
Others include Business Models for Disruptive Innovation, Executing Disruptive Innovation Strategies,
The Art of Storytelling in Innovation,
Ethical Approaches to Disruptive Innovation, And Lessons from the Payments and Financial Services Industry.
While reflecting on the workshop, Akanmu described it as an intense and enriching experience.
“It was a privilege to engage with such a vibrant and insightful group of participants. The program was designed to equip them with practical skills and a disruptive mindset needed to make positive and inclusive changes in their industries,” he stated
The sessions were co-facilitated by a team of experts, including Dr. Henrietta Onwuegbeuzie, Napa Onwusah, David Lanre Messan, Silk Ugwu Ogbuh (Ph.D.), and Tomi Vincent. Together, they brought diverse perspectives and expertise, ensuring a robust and impactful learning experience for attendees.
