HASG eulogises OAAN’s contribution, pledges support

Leaders of the Heads of Advertising Sectoral Groups (HASG) have eulogised contributions of the Out-of-Home Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN), within the industry spectrum of the industry while pledging support for its sustainable growth.
The sectoral leaders made this commitment at the 39th Annual General Meeting of OAAN, where they commended association’s remarkable contributions to the integrated marketing communication sector.
Dozie Okafor, President of the Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN), praised OAAN for embracing technological disruption, leading to significant impacts on other industries and increased investment in the sector. He assured OAAN of MIPAN’s support, stating that the innovative approaches introduced by OAAN have helped to enhanced and redefine the advertising sector.
Lanre Adisa, President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) and Chairman of HASG, commended OAAN for its resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges. He acknowledged the pursuit of a common goal and vision among the sectors and assured OAAN of AAAN/HASG’s support for its diverse growth initiatives.
Anthony Itegbe, Publicity Secretary of the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN), representing Tolulope Medebem, reassured OAAN that the industry is for all stakeholders, emphasizing the need for collective growth through mutual support. He described Out-of-Home as the propeller of industry growth, stressing the importance of synergy for sustainable growth.
The leaders unanimously agreed that OAAN’s growth is crucial to the industry’s overall development, pledging to stand by the outdoor group to ensure they receive every necessary support for both business and media. They emphasized the importance of partnership, collaboration, and collective growth, recognizing OAAN as a key driver of industry progress.
The meeting highlighted the need for collaborative spirit among advertising sectoral groups that will keep fostering a united front for sustainable growth and development in the industry.
