APCON Registrar honoured with MARKETING EDGE Outstanding Advertising Personality of the Decade

The Registrar of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, has been honoured with the prestigious MARKETING EDGE Award as the Outstanding Advertising Personality of the Decade.
Presenting the award today at the APCON secretariat in Lagos, the MARKETING EDGE team noted that the recognition is coming on the heels of his professional expertise which spans several decades as well as his immense contributions to the industry.
Dr. Fadolapo, who was unavoidably absent at the MARKETING EDGE Brands & Advertising Awards of Excellence, was elated and pledged his commitment to the growth and development of the Industry.
In his words: “ I really want to thank the management of MARKETING EDGE. I want to say a very big thank you to them for sustaining the development and growth of this industry, for their contribution to marketing communication in all its ramifications. I am very honoured and humbled with this award and I want to say thank you to them. We will keep pushing forward. This award is like telling us that we have been identified and we must not relent on what we have been doing.”
MARKETING EDGE Annual Stakeholders Summit of Brands & Advertising Awards of Excellence is a yearly occasion initiated by the MARKETING EDGE Magazine to recognize outstanding brands, brand builders, agencies and companies as part of its commitment to ‘Promoting the brand Idea’.
