ADVAN set to host 2017 Industry Dialogue
Advertising Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) is set to host stakeholders in the marketing communications industry in its 2017 Industry Dialogue. The inaugural dialogue is tagged: “Industry Trends (Nigeria) and its Implication for Members”.
The event is scheduled to hold on March 15, 2017 at Star Academy Accommodation Centre, Nigeria Breweries Headquarters, 1 Abebe Village Road, Iganmu-Lagos by 2pm.
The platform will provide a meeting point for stakeholders to discuss crucial issues. Topics will range from Media Effectiveness, to discussions on regulatory policies, agency relations, data compilation and much more.
The lineup of speakers includes Mr. Lanre Adisa, Managing Director of Noah’s Ark; Mr. Tony Agenmonmen, President of the National Institute of Nigerian Marketers (NIMN); Alhadji Garba Bello Kankarofi, CEO APCON; Mr Mobolaji Sanusi, Managing Director LASAA; Mr Kayode Oluwasona, President AAAN, amongst others.
According to ADVAN, it is expected that advertisers should take the lead role in directing the thought of the industry.
ADVAN said:“In a boisterous Industry flooded with numerous opinions, information and regulations, it is important that advertisers take the lead role, in directing the thoughts and conversations that will ultimately determine the course of industry programmes, regulations and best practices.
“Through this programme, ADVAN hopes to help provide an objective perspective on key issues, as well as steer the outcomes of these conversations in a desired direction.”
