Top Ghanaian female banker, now fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK
The Global Chair (Exports and Credit) at the Women Economic Forum (WEF), headquartered in India, pioneer Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Banking) at the Ghana Export-Import Bank (EXIM) and currently Deputy Managing Director (Corporate Resources) at the Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Nana Ama Poku, has been admitted into the Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
CIM Fellows (FCIM) are the most experienced marketers with many years of senior strategic experience. They typically hold a marketing director or other strategic C-Suite position and are considered global leaders in marketing. They are regarded as part of an elite group of very experienced marketing professionals and have access to exclusive benefits that allows them to stay at the top of the marketing profession and collaborate with like-minded and experienced marketing professionals.
A high performing financial services professional, Poku holds an Executive MBA (Entrepreneurial Management) from the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and an MA in (Marketing Communications) from the University of Westminster Business School in the United Kingdom.
She is a recipient of several honours and awards including Women of Excellence Award, Global Leadership Excellence Award, Outstanding Woman in Finance Award, all in Ghana.
She is on the Advisory Board of the West Africa Centre for Cell Biology and Infectious Pathogens and is Corporate Practitioner in Residence at the Ghana Community Technology University, the only University in Ghana tasked by statute to deliver information communication technology programmes.
