Rinet Ltd awards, rewards staff for long service and loyalty
Rinet Ltd, an integrated marketing communications company, has awarded and rewarded some of its outstanding employees who have remained loyal, valuable, and dedicated to the company in the last 20 years.
The event, which held at the NECA House, Ikeja, was graced by the presence of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) President and MD/CEO X3M Ideas, Steve Babaeko; Managing Director, TBWA Concept, Kelechi Nwosu and other distinguished industry personalities.
Speaking on what informed his decision to celebrate the landmark against economic odds, Fillius Osubor, MD/CEO Rinet Ltd, who also recently marked his 60th birthday, explained that it felt right and deserving to honour his staff for their selfless dedication to the growth of the organisation.
“Having spent 26 years in the marketing communications industry in a tough environment like ours is not easy. Staying in business for this long in an industry where many thriving agencies have gone under before our presence could only be achieved by God’s Grace.
“More importantly, having a few individual members of staff who have remained loyal and dedicated to Rinet Ltd for 20 years is a feat not so common in this part of the world. This event is designed to show our heartfelt appreciation to staff commitment and loyalty over the years,” he said.
Mr Osubor demonstrated unique and excellent leadership when he opened the award and reward ceremony by honouring his former driver for his 15 years of unwavering dedication to Rinet Ltd and the Osubor family.
The award and reward ceremony began in earnest as Mrs Olalere Elizabeth, fondly referred to as ‘Mama Rinet’, was honoured for her invaluable service and contribution to the company.
Currently serving as the company’s Manager of Corporate Promotions, Mrs Olalere had joined Rinet as a client service executive in 2005.
In the same vein, Mr Adeniyi Richards was also rewarded for his 14 years of loyal service, while Adegoke Kemisola was rewarded for her 10 years landmark at the company.
The Grand Long Service Award was bestowed on Mr. Isaac Asemota, current Head of Media and Accounts at Rinet. In all, the outstanding staff of Rinet were honoured with undisclosed financial rewards and award plaques respectively.
