Kantar wins 2023 UK Company of the Year Award

Global data analytics consulting firm Kantar, has been awarded UK Company of the Year by the Burberry British Diversity Awards 2023.

The National Grid-sponsored award which celebrates people who make the workplace better for others, also promotes the values of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Commenting on the award, Megan Cross, global Head of Inclusion and Diversity at Kantar, said: “It’s a tremendous honour to receive the Company of the Year Award. It’s wonderful recognition of the passion and effort that so many of our colleagues contribute to making our culture inclusive and diverse. Our work is far from done, and I’m excited about the additional momentum this award will give us.”

Through talent acquisition, local workplace policies, training, and a positive company culture, Kantar has consistently created a diverse and inclusive workplace, helped leaders build and foster a diverse workplace, created an inclusive culture where everyone can succeed, and supported global virtual networks where people connect on key topics, including Pride @ Kantar, Colourful @ Kantar, Women of Kantar and the Neurodiversity Network among others.

Some of the company’s inclusion and diversity projects include The Reykjavik Index for Leadership – a collaboration with Women Political Leaders which measures the extent to which society is comfortable with women in leadership as compared to men in leadership.

The Inclusion Index helps companies assess their performance on issues of Equality, Inclusion and Diversity (EID), and to support them in making positive change internally.

Another initiative, What Women Want, analyses the role of self-esteem and gender, and how this might impact brand perception. The report shows that brands are risking their customer relationships (and their brand value) by failing to correctly reflect, represent and champion women in their marketing and advertising efforts.
