The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is set to host a special edition of its monthly PR Clinic this June, with a fireside chat themed “How to Build a Successful Public Relations Career.”

The session will hold on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Eko FM Multipurpose Hall, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.

The edition is designed as an interactive conversation around Efe Obiomah’s book, bringing together seasoned communication professionals to share practical lessons from the field.

Obiomah, Founder of Brand Spark, will be joined by Segun McMedal, President/Team Lead of Upticomm Marketing Company, while Olayinka Z. Olaseni, Business Development at TPT International, will moderate the session.

According to the Lagos Chapter, the fireside chat is intended to go beyond theory and provide participants with career lessons, success strategies and industry insights that are not often found in textbooks.

NIPR Lagos state chapter said the session will create room for candid conversations on career growth, personal branding, networking, entrepreneurship, leadership and professional development.

The meeting is expected to appeal to young practitioners seeking direction, mid-career professionals looking to grow and seasoned professionals aiming to stay ahead in an evolving communication landscape.

It is also being positioned as a practical learning and networking opportunity for members of the institute and other professionals in the field.
