NIPR holds confab with members

Poised to bridge the gap within the university system with regards to up- to -date professional knowledge/expertise, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has embarked on trainings to enhance the competencies of professional public relations practitioners and also expose them to modern PR trends.

Themed “Leadership and Strategic Communication Skills for Effective Relationship Management in Educational Institutions During Crisis”, target participants are School Administrators, Registrars, Deputy Registrars, Dean Student Affairs, Students’ Affairs Officers, Directors of Information, Heads of Public Relations, Academic Secretaries, and all Managers of Information in the Nigerian Educational System.

The event will take place at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja and applicants are expected to arrive on 15th April, 2021, while training will start on the 16th and end on 17th April, 2021 by 10am to 4pm. The training fee is N50, 000.

According to the organisers, the Conference presents a unique networking opportunity among PR Professionals in the Educational Sector.

Established in 1963 and chartered in 1990, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations is the body charged with the responsibility to regulate public relations practice in Nigeria as enshrined in Decree 16 of June 1990 now an Act of the National Assembly.
