NIMN elevates members as Fellows

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has formally elevated nineteen of its members to the status of “Fellows of the Institute”.

The new fellows who are reputable professionals in the marketing industry includes Onyebuchi Onubogu, Kolawole Samuel, Pst. Dr. Benson Ogbonna (JP), Sir Isele Paschal Darlington Omondia, Adenike Olufade, Oluseyi Kolawole, Dr. Anyaogu Peter Maguabuchi, Mrs. Omolola Daniels, Michael Apkofure Umogun, Jennifer Osaseri Anazado, Nkemakolam Ndubuisi Okoro, Doja Ekeruche, and Dr. Rosetta Bola Thompson, among others.

The new President and Chairman of the NIMN Council, Mr Gainyu Koledoye, who conferred the awards on the new fellows recently in Lagos, used the opportunity to commend the leadership team for conceiving a new pathway for the institute and charged the new fellows to ensure that they maintain the high integrity the institute is known for.

Speaking upon her conferment, one of the new Fellows, Mrs.AdenikeOnifade, commended the Institute for their zealous maintenanceof the ethics of professional marketing excellence in Nigeria.

“We are indeed very elated to be inducted as fellows in NIMN. The Nigerian marketing space can only benefit from this exercise because as fellows in our humble rights, we are adequately poised to take the practice of marketing to enviable heights,” Mrs Onifadesaid.

Also reacting to the award, a Fellow of NIMN and publisher of Nigeria’s leading brands and marketing magazine, Mr. John Ajayi said that considering some of the initial decisions that have been taken so far by the new council, it was obvious that the new president and the council would offer great hope for practitioners as well as other stakeholders.
