Netflix appoints Spectranet to develop first dedicated servers in West Africa
In a bid to satisfy its numerous customers and push the boundaries of viewers watching streaming videos online, Netflix, the World’s leading internet TV service has appointed Spectranet, Nigeria’s 4GLTE broadband service provider for the deployment of one of its first dedicated servers in Africa.
Speaking on the partnership, Chief Executive Officer Spectranet, Mr. David Venn, said that the appointment of the firm was a welcome development, adding that the Spectranet would provide customers with seamless and delightful streaming experiences.
Venn noted that the rationale behind the deployment of the servers was to offer customers faster internet in a cost effective way.
According to him, “because we are focus on providing families with an excellent and affordable broadband service, this partnership with Netflix means that our customers will be able to enjoy the very best TV experiences available in Nigeria. We are honored that Netflix has selected Spectranet for one of its first deployments in Africa and the only one in West Africa”.
Netflix offers a new way of watching TV, giving its members the ability to enjoy TV series and films when, how and where they want with seamless, instant access across TVs, tables, Smartphones, game consoles and computers.
Netflix offers a great entertainment experience with many titles obtainable in high-definition with Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 surround sound and some in Ultra HD 4K and HDR.
