Meet MARKETING EDGE Q4 2023 Summit Panelist – Dotun Babatunde
Dotun Babatunde is a multi-disciplined creative and digital marketing communication professional with over 15 years experience in a multi-channel environment and across diverse industry segments.
Dotun has demonstrated a proven ability to combine vision and creativity in delivering digital marketing solutions based on a solid understanding of clients’ marketing communication needs.
In his current role as Head, Digital Marketing, Olam Nigeria Limited, he oversees the deployment of digital technology to drive the brand’s success.
Prior to his present engagement, he had stints at digital agencies where he worked on digital marketing campaigns for major clients and brands such as Nigerian Breweries, First Bank of Nigeria, Etisalat (9mobile), Procter & Gamble, British American Tobacco, LG, Unilever, Fumman, Calypso, UBA, Morning Fresh, PZ Cussons, Society for Family Health, First Ally, Lumos, Dangote Flour Mills, Dangote Salt, Mantrac, Ecobank, Notore, Lafarge but to mention a few.
He belongs to different associations including Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing, UK(Associate Member), Institute of Information Management, Africa(Fellow). He is the co-founder of Lagos Digital Academy, a social enterprise that is strongly committed to teaching and inspiring a new generation of digital professionals and entrepreneurs.
He has attended seminars and workshops both locally and internationally, including Digital Summit, Atlanta (2017, 2019), Techplus Lagos (2018),Ad Tech London (2017),Social Media Week, Lagos (2017),Google (2015 – date), Digital Marketing Show, London (2014).
His passion to impact knowledge on his community and industry has also seen him speak at different conferences and seminars over the years including Social Media Week, Lagos (2018), RCCG Youth Workshop (2018), Brand & Consumers with Femi on Eko 97FM (2018), Naija Tori on Superscreen TV (2018, O2 Academy (2015 – 2019), APCON (2019).
Dotun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Computer Science from Keele University, UK. He is also a Masters Degree holder from Liverpool John Moore University, UK.
A geek by default, passionate about cars, gadgets, computer games and movies who during his spare time enjoy reading, running and traveling.
