Professor Abraham Adewale A. Osinubi is the Executive Director of University of Lagos Business School. A Medical Doctor, an Anatomist, a Stereologist, a Teacher, a Motivational instructor, a conference/public speaker, a Theologian, health commentator and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
He is the foundation Editor-in-Chief of the University Of Lagos Journal Of Basic Medical Sciences and has authored over 120 scientific publications in learnt journals and two textbooks of Anatomy. He co-authored the first National Clinical Practice Guidelines for Diabetes Management in Nigeria in 2012.
He was appointed Associate Professor of Anatomy by the University of Lagos in 2010 and was Head of Department of Anatomy, College of Medicine of the University of Lagos from 2010 to 2012. He was the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine of the University of Lagos from 2012 to 2014. He is also a Google Scholar and was recently inducted as foundation fellow into the prestigious Academy of Medicine Specialties Nigeria.
He is a Vice-President of the Endocrine and Metabolism Society of Nigeria, and he co-authored the first National Clinical Practice Guidelines for Diabetes Management in Nigeria in 2012. Former Sub-Dean, FBMS, College of Medicine of University of Lagos (CMUL); past HOD of Anatomy, CMUL; appointed Full Professor by UNILAG in 2015; past HOD of Anatomy & Assoc. Professor, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Lagos (2008).
Professor Osinubi had his graduate medical education at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and was awarded M.B., B.S. degrees in 1987. He has M.Sc. (in Anatomy) and Ph.D. (in Anatomy) degrees in 2000 and 2006, respectively from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria.
He has diligently researched in the areas of Reproductive and Endocrine Anatomy; Testicular Toxicology and Teaching Methodology.
ResearchGate acknowledged him as one of the most cited authors in his field in December 2015. He became Full Professor in 2015 at the University of Lagos. He was awarded the prestigious FACE distinction (Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology) in 2009; FASN in 2016; FSECAN in 2017.
