Meet MARKETING EDGE 2020 Summit & Awards panelist – Dr. Felix King Eiremiokhae

In a country where unemployment rate is overwhelmingly high, entrepreneurs who provide jobs for the army of unemployed youths are not only solving social problems but contributing to nation building. Dr. Felix King Eiremiokhae, through his business concerns and by dint of hard work, perseverance, dedication and drive, has been able to provide employment opportunities to over one thousand (1, 000) individuals (both Nigerians and expatriates) with steady and regular income  for themselves and their families. So many youths are being gainfully engaged on a regular basis, thereby reducing the crime rate in Nigeria and beyond.

Dr. King, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist of note, is from a very humble background. He was born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. David Eraga Eiremiokhae on 17 March, 1970 in Afuda, a small village located in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria. Dr. King was born into a family of 29 children, consisting of 4 blood sisters, 4 blood brothers, and 22 half-brothers and sisters. His father was a foreman who worked with the Ministry of Works & Housing, while his Mother (Alice) was a petty trader.

Dr. King is a graduate of Business Administration whose life has been a true definition of the power of hope and faith. He grew up in a community where children going to school without shoes on their feet and feeding once a day was a normal thing. Through faith and hope, Dr. King worked his way through every obstacle life threw at him in the quest to become successful in life. He is an entrepreneur who conceived the idea of owning his own businesses early in life.

In August, 2004, he incorporated Oracle Experience Limited, a multiple award winning Advertising and Marketing Agency that provides Events, Marketing, Planning and Sponsorship services to several local and multinational companies with satellite operations in  Nigeria cities. The company has an operational branch in Accra, Ghana, West Africa. In 2014, he also incorporated Mayor Biscuits Company Limited (MABISCO), a confectionaries and Foods Company that produces, markets and distributes freshly baked biscuits across Nigeria. The company has concluded plans to export its products to other African countries before the end of 2020. Please refer to www.oracleagency.comIG @oracleexperience, www.mabisco.comIG -@mabiscosnacks.

Dr. King is also a philanthropist extraordinaire and due to his unalloyed love for the less privileged, in 2015, he with the support of his wife started the Felix King Charity Foundation (the Foundation), with the key objective of giving hope to poor and vulnerable widows and their children in communities across Nigeria.

According to Dr. King, this initiative will be expanded to other parts of Africa in due course. Through his charity works, over five thousand (5,000) vulnerable women and children have seen their lives transformed from despair to hope through different aid programmes like; The market Moni for widows and rural women, women farm aid programmes, free food distribution and medical aid. Full scholarships have also been awarded to indigent children who were hitherto out of school. Felix has indeed offered succor to the hopeless and lend a voice to the voiceless. On the 21stof June 2017, the Felix King Foundation presented a private “Bill for the protection of widows, orphans, disadvantaged women from maltreatment and other allied matters arising” to Edo State House of Assembly, Nigeria and he remains very hopeful that this bill will be passed into law before the end of 2020.

At the fall of 2018, the foundation launched GOAL 36,000 WOMEN BY 2029 which is a projected goal to reach and empower36,000 women in Africa in 10 years window.
