Leo Burnett Lagos wins World Bank’s multi-million naira pitch

Fast-rising advertising agency in Nigeria, Leo Burnett Lagos, has won the World Bank International Finance Corporation pitch.

The agency won the account after a keenly-contested pitch against some powerhouse agencies, which include DDB Lagos, Yellow Brick Road, Novel Porta Y&R and the incumbent Blue Bird Communications.

The selection of Leo Burnett Lagos to be the custodian of the account has been linked to the agency’s track records and its excellent creative innovations in just less than three years in the integrated marketing communication enterprise.

It will be recalled that since January 2015 when Leo Burnett Lagos started operations, it has won several major accounts with a number of highly creative work done elevating the agency to the number four position of the list of the most creative agencies in Nigeria, especially following its performance in the 2016 LAIF awards based on its sole entry for the #FOUNDONKONGA Campaign.

The young agency is already making waves as one of the exceptional African companies to be featured in the latest edition of Lurzer’s Archive for its work on Heritage Bank’s #IAMPROUDOFMYHERITAGE Campaign.

Industry watchers have also said that the exploits of Leo Burnett Lagos have continued to attract more businesses due to its commitment to global standards.

They opined that the agency’s profile has being on the upward scale after producing some remarkable creative works that are traceable to the agency’s humankind philosophy, built around the thinking that creativity had the power to transform human behaviours for good.
