Heineken announces global launch of Desperados non-alcoholic variant, Virgin 0.0%

Global brewer Heineken has expanded its portfolio of zero alcohol beers with the global launch of Desperados Virgin 0.0%.
With 100% taste of the original beer and 0% alcohol, the Desperados Virgin 0.0% offers a new taste experience for the increasing number of consumers who want more choice within the low and no-alcohol category.

The Nigerian Breweries launched Desperados in Nigeria last year, 25 years after it was originally created and produced by the French brewing company Fischer Brewery as the world’s first tequila-flavored beer which is currently sold in over 86 countries.

First introduced in France last year, Desperados Virgin 0.0% will be available in the Netherlands and Poland this month; Belgium in February; and rolled out globally throughout 2021.
