Fuel Communications, CECP Join Forces Againt Cancer

One of Nigeria’s top agencies, Fuel Communications is collaborating with Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) an health focused advocacy group to stage a full-fledged charity-focused Art Exhibition/Art Sales designed to raise funds towards acquiring Cancer Prevention/Treatment Mobile Clinics.

The exhibition is planned to hold at The National Museum Centre, Lagos from Friday, November 20th to 27th. This exhibition is expected to be headlined by at least two of Nigeria’s foremost visual experts, Dr. Bruce Onobrakpeya and Kolade Oshinowo.

The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP-Nigeria), which an initiative of the Organized Private Sector (OPS) to create a vibrant social sector through private-public-social (tripartite) partnership, last month celebrated the World Sight Day (WSD), with an annual day of awareness held to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment.

This year, the ‘Call to Action’ for WSD was: ‘Eye care for all.’ CECP noted that this is apt, given the very dismal statistics on blindness, especially in Nigeria.
