EXMAN members express high expectations of new executive committee

Following the successful EXMAN Brand Experience Summit 2023 and awards, members of the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) are jubilant and celebrating the outcome of their recent elections.

The association’s decision to elect two female leaders, Tolulope Medebem, former Vice President of EXMAN and CEO of Aster Integrated Marketing Limited, and Angela Makinwa, Director of Client Engagement, Strategy & Creative at EXP Marketing Nigeria, has been widely praised.

Ropo Alabi, CEO of Link point Resources International Limited, expressed his support for the new executive committee, emphasizing their strong leadership qualities and experience in brand activation.

Alabi highlighted the association’s commitment to providing unwavering support, regardless of gender, and expressed confidence in the positive changes that can be expected from the new leaders.

Rosemary Akpo, Managing Director of EXP Marketing, commended the forward-thinking and integration demonstrated by EXMAN in electing female leaders.

Akpo celebrated the fact that the decision had garnered 100% support from both men and women within the association, breaking barriers and demonstrating progress. She expressed optimism in the capability of Medebem and Makinwa to deliver significant value to EXMAN and urged members to support them wholeheartedly.

Hopewell Efese, Account Director at Connect Marketing Services, echoed the sentiments of his fellow members, emphasizing the need to raise the professional bar and discourage quackery in the industry.

Efese called for a focused and professional approach, highlighting the porous nature of the industry and the need to promote professionalism and uphold industry standards.

Adedeji Bankole, the former Publicity Secretary of EXMAN, encouraged the new executive committee to build upon the foundation laid by their predecessors and ensure a stronger association.

Bankole emphasized the importance of continuity and urged the new team to enforce stronger barriers to maintain professionalism within the industry.

With high expectations from EXMAN members, the new executive committee is poised to lead the association with determination and a focus on progress. Their commitment to professionalism, growth, and raising industry standards will play a pivotal role in taking EXMAN to new heights.
