Coca-Cola kicks off festive countdown, returns iconic Christmas Truck Tour

The world-famous Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is already making grand entries into major cities in the UK after being cancelled as a result of 2020’s coronavirus pandemic.

Commenting on the return of the iconic festive tour, Coca-Cola announced: “Here at Coca‑Cola, we know more than just about anyone that the Christmas Countdown officially starts with the very first sighting of the Coca‑Cola Christmas Truck – something that has become a tradition ever since it first appeared in Coca‑Cola’s famous ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert.”

The company stated: “This year, we’re planning to stop off at as many cities around the UK as possible – but we don’t want to spoil the surprise just yet. We’ll be revealing which cities we’ll be rolling into over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes on our social media or website for all the details. So come back often to find out when the Coca‑Cola Christmas Truck Tour 2021 will be rolling into your town.”

However, the Truck Tour which kicked off in Glasgow, rolled into Silverburn Shopping Centre on November 24 until November 25, before heading down to Newcastle on November 26. On November 27 and 28, the truck was at the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds.

Last year, Coca-Cola Nigeria kicked off its festive #Bestgiftisyou campaign with the iconic Christmas caravan. The activation took place in 9 cities across the nation with loads of fun, photo moments, several gift items and bottles of Coca-Cola.

The Coca-Cola Christmas caravan, which began its tour in Abuja 7th of December 2020, visited major cities in Nigeria, including Benin, Ibadan, Enugu, Port-Harcourt and will touch most cities in the south-west and made its final stop in Lagos on Christmas day.
