Apple has expanded its iCloud+ subscription offering in Nigeria, giving subscribers access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.

The technology company announced the expansion on September 15, 2026, as part of a wider rollout of the enhanced iCloud+ service to more than 100 countries and regions. The move also marks the first time Apple TV will be available to users in Nigeria.

Under the expanded offering, Nigerian iCloud+ subscribers can continue to use the service for storing, backing up and sharing content across Apple devices while gaining access to Apple TV, Apple Arcade and Apple Music Select, alongside existing iCloud+ features.

However, the additional services are not being offered as separate free subscriptions. Instead, Apple is incorporating selected services and benefits into existing paid iCloud+ plans.

In Nigeria, iCloud+ starts at ₦1,300 per month for the 50GB plan, with higher storage tiers also available. Apple said the expanded iCloud+ offering will roll out through the end of September.

With Apple TV now included, Nigerian subscribers will be able to watch Apple Original productions such as Ted Lasso, The Studio, Severance, Pluribus, CODA and F1 across supported devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, compatible smart TVs and gaming consoles.

Apple Arcade subscribers will also gain access to more than 200 games, including Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sneaky Sasquatch, Angry Birds Reloaded and Block Blast+. The service includes features such as no advertising, no in-app purchases and offline play.

Apple is also introducing Apple Music Select for Nigerian iCloud+ subscribers. The offering includes a collection of ad-free stations programmed by Apple Music, covering categories such as regional music, Top Songs, the 80s and the 90s.

For existing users who previously subscribed separately to Apple TV or Apple Arcade, Apple said they will not lose access. Their individual subscriptions will be cancelled, and the services will continue through their iCloud+ subscription. Apple Arcade users will also retain their existing game progress and saves.

The company said Family Sharing will allow iCloud+ subscribers to share their subscription benefits with up to five family members.

The expansion represents a broader move by Apple to bundle more of its digital services into its cloud storage offering, potentially giving subscribers access to a wider range of entertainment and digital services through a single monthly subscription.

For Nigerian Apple users, the change brings Apple’s video streaming and gaming services into the iCloud+ package without increasing the starting monthly price of the subscription.
