Airtel’s Touching Lives Series aired again on DSTV

Premium satellite TV brand, Digital Satellite Television commonly known as DStv has commenced a repeat showing of the television series, “Airtel Touching Lives”, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) reality show sponsored by a leading telecom brand, Airtel Nigeria.

The program which its rerun began on the 12th of April will be broadcast till the 5th of July, 2015 by 8:00pm every Sunday. Repeat broadcasts will be aired every Wednesday by 8:00pm from April 15th to July 8th, 2015.

Speaking on this development, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya said, “Airtel Touching Lives underscores our determination to enrich lives and contribute to humanity. It marks the beginning of a new journey in providing empowerment and a major lifeline for thousands of Nigerians.

He further added, “Airtel Touching Lives programme is an expression of our commitment to alleviating suffering and offering real-time help to displaced persons, the hard to reach and the less privileged in the society.

Airtel is part of the Nigerian society and we feel the deep pain and hardship confronting many in the communities where we operate. It is our hope that Touching Lives will offer relief to many and help us to connect emotionally with the communities and customers we serve.”

The Airtel Touching Lives program, a show has raised the bars as regards beneficial CSR is a platform which celebrates humanity, whilst inspiring hope and enhancing people’s quality of life. It identifies extraordinary people from all walks of life with dire needs and aims at fostering a culture of giving selflessly and nominating extraordinary individuals, who ought to be given a gateway to a better life.

Popular On-Air Personality (OAP), Wana Udobang, who serves as program anchor added another dimension to redefinition of television-viewing experience of Nigerians as she captured the moving stories and emotive moments of the beneficiaries and their emancipation from the shackles of poverty, despair and suffering.
