Airtel subscribers get 90% discount on new package
In its bid to remain a leading player in the telecommunication sector, Airtel Nigeria, has rolled out a 90 percent discount in its newly repacked Roam & Home Bundle plan in the country.
Chief Commercial Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Ahmad Mokhles, said that the Roam and Home Bundle plan was initiated to ensure that travelers get connected and enjoy their trips and to equally empower Nigerian consumers to constantly communicate with their business associates, family and friends while overseas.
Mokhles added that Airtel was offering a new value through the launch of the Roam and Home Bundle plan which allows customers to roam at a discounted rate on 33 selected networks in 27 countries stressing, that the firm was also offering bundle balance that could be used locally or when a customer returns home.
He said that with the new package, customers can receive free calls and SMS, noting that the service can be activated either at home or abroad. According to him, the minimum bundle of N5, 000 comes with seven days validity while subscription that is valid for 30 days begins from N10,000.
He said:“Customers get daily notifications on usage after subscription. Customers can make calls back home to Nigeria while abroad roaming across the 27 countries for as low as N60/20 secs, and when they are back, they can also use the balance in their Roam and Home Bundle to make calls at local rate.”
Mokhles further stressed that Airtel was committed to partnering Nigerians on every international trip, ensuring that they get real value and also enjoy seamless telephony experience at the best tariff.
