Adspots Digital Solutions launches ad space buying platform

Adspots Digital Solutions has announced the launch of an advertising space buying portal, adspots.ng.

According to the firm, the platform aims to make it easier for anyone to access and pay for ad spaces on radio, TV, print, outdoor and online. Significant revenue is lost by media houses because there are people who want to advertise, but do not know how to go about it or have the misconception that advertising is expensive. Adspots.ng provides a digital solution to advertising, especially for small businesses and individuals.

In a brief chat, the CEO of adspots.ng, Ekpedeme Ufot said: “We are delighted to launch this amazing platform which we are sure will add tremendous value to the advertising industry. What adspots.ng seeks to do is make advertising go retail and inclusive. A lot of money is lost by the industry because some people who would like to advertise simply do not know how to go about it. For instance, how do I find available billboards in Eket or Makurdi? There are medium to big companies who already know how advertising works, they have their agencies or in-house teams who create and place their advertisements. But there are also small scale businesses or individuals who probably cannot afford ad agencies, they just want to run maybe a half page congratulatory ad or want to buy a billboard for a month, this platform is for them. We want to make advertising easier and more accessible.”

When asked what threat the platform poses to ad agencies, he said “We are not competing, but collaborating.  For instance, Maximedia Global Communications, a media planning and buying agency is one of our partners. We are purely tech company that aggregates solutions. For example, if you want to shoot a commercial, we can connect you to an ad agency or production company” He added that adspots.ng is a product of the intersection of technology and advertising.

Adspots Digital Solutions is a data and technology company that creates solutions that help brands, agencies and media houses operate efficiently and profitably. Adspots.ng is its maiden product. It will be officially unveiled later this month at an event to be attended by industry stakeholders and brand journalists.
