X3M Ideas has donated 50 Motorola walkie-talkies to the Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area to help its Security Marshal do its job better.
The agency’s management presented the radios to the LCDA Chairman, Honourable Moyosore Adebanjo, at the council secretariat on Monday, 31 August 2026. The idea is straightforward. When the men and women watching over Onigbongbo can reach each other fast, they respond faster, and the community is safer for it.
This is the agency’s 2026 corporate social responsibility project, and it fits a pattern X3M Ideas has kept up every year since it started out. For fourteen years the agency has put money and effort into the communities around it, mostly in education and youth work across Lagos State.
Those projects have added up. X3M Ideas built and stocked a library at Ikeja Senior High School in GRA. It has put up classroom blocks, renovated tired school buildings and fitted schools with computers. Through its X3M Tech Training Programme, it taught pupils at Muritala Ajadi Community Grammar School to build websites, design products and write well, then sent the best of them home with laptops and internet access.

Steve Babaeko, Group Chief Executive Officer of X3M Ideas, said the agency treats giving back as a duty, not a photo opportunity.
“Nobody can force a company to be responsible. You choose it,” Babaeko said.
“We are corporate citizens, and no government anywhere fixes everything by itself. So every year we ask one question. Where can we step in and make things a little better? This year the answer was security. Give the marshals the tools to talk to one another, and you make life safer for everybody in Onigbongbo. That is worth doing.”
He noted that the agency has never waited for the right moment to give. “We started in our very first year, before there was any real profit to speak of, because this is just who we are. Fourteen years on, that has not changed.”
Thanking the agency for the support, Honourable Moyosore Adebanjo said, “These radios came at the right time, and we are grateful,” Adebanjo said. “Our marshals are only as effective as their ability to communicate and respond, and fifty reliable handsets across our teams is exactly what they needed. When a company chooses to invest in the safety of a community it works in, everybody benefits.”
X3M Ideas assured that its CSR work will carry on in the years ahead.
