On October 31, 2025, the atrium of the Alliance Française Mike Adenuga Centre in Lagos glowed softly as women from across Globacom gathered for something deeper than a corporate event. Indeed, SheGlows Summit 2025, themed “Wellness for Growth,” invited them to pause, reflect, and rediscover balance.

Voices that Inspired Reflection and Renewal
To set the tone, three powerful voices led the conversation. Mrs. Olubunmi Aboderin Talabi reframed strength through rest and reflection, urging women to see pause as power.
Bunmi George, on her part, translated wellness into daily discipline and intentional self-care, while Ifeoma Williams reminded every woman that leadership begins in authenticity and presence.
Wellness at the Heart of Innovation
Beyond the inspiring keynotes, the day mirrored Globacom’s leadership philosophy that true innovation thrives where people are healthy, supported, and seen.
Furthermore, with quiet but intentional backing from Glo management, SheGlows has evolved from an initiative into a movement that now reaches women across offices and cities, both in person and online.
A Shared Experience of Inspiration and Connection
As the sessions unfolded, attendees lauded the experience as inspiring and transformative.

Ifeyinwa Okoli, Team Lead, Customer Care, affirmed, “The event was beyond my expectations; each speaker delivered her message beautifully, and I’ve taken so much home.”
In the same vein, Esther Ohiomoba from Enterprise Business added, “It touched my core. My biggest takeaway is to let my brilliance serve, not intimidate. I’d love to do this again and again.”
From Wellness to Sustained Growth
As the sun set and conversations lingered, participants departed lighter, focused, and re-energised. In the end, the day proved once again that when wellness leads, growth follows and that Glo women continue to shine, grow, and glow from within.
