ADVAN re-elects Uwubanmwen as president

The Advertisers Association of Nigeria, ADVAN, has re-elected Osamede Uwubanmwen, Commercial Director, Biogenerics Nigeria Limited as president for the second term. The re-election exercise took place at the association’s Annual General Meeting held on 10th May, 2024.
Uwubanmwen, who has completed his two years’ service term as the president, was re-elected for another term to hold the leadership baton for the next two service years.
The president, in his acceptance speech disclosed that his vision is to strengthen an inclusive environment and actively engage with all stakeholders to shape a dynamic and future-ready industry while working closely with members to ensure they jointly take ADVAN to new heights.
Shedding light on the election process, Ediri Ose-Ediale, the CEO of the association, explained that some positions were unopposed while votes were cast in others.
New executive that emerged to steer the association towards new horizons of innovation and impact include:
Yusuf Muritala, Marketing Director, Coca Cola, as 1st Vice President; Otega Ogra, SSA to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Digital, as 2nd Vice President; Ediri Ose-Ediale, CEO/Executive Director, ADVAN, as CEO/Executive Director; Akinrimisi Samuel, Deputy Marketing Director, CWay Foods and Beverages as Treasurer; Adeola Amusun, Group Media Manager, Tolaram as Publicity Secretary; Roseline Abaraonye, Head of Marketing, Hayat Nigeria Ltd As Executive Member; Tolu Olanipekun, Head of Marketing, Mouka Foam as Executive Member; Omolara Banjoko, Marketing Manager, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, as Executive Member; Dr. Omotola Bamigbaiye-Elatuyi, Marketing Director, Pladis, as Executive Member, and Maurice Igugu, CMO, Sterling Bank, also an Executive Member.
