Consumers Value Awards holds tomorrow

The first edition of the Consumers Value Awards will be held tomorrow Wednesday, 24th August, 2022 by 5:00pm at Radisson Blu Hotel, Lagos with the theme, “Power of the Consumer”.
Commenting on the award, Akonte Ekine, CEO, Absolute PR and convener of the award said: “The award is a celebration of the values enjoyed by the consumers through the votes to show that various consumers of products are happy with what they experienced. The award will address certain misdemeanours of some brands which has greatly undermined the power of the consumer.”
Ekine decried the unscrupulous and unethical behaviours of some brands in the marketplace stated that the award aims to awaken the consciousness about consumer rights and the need to exercise the power of knowledge to install decorum in the marketplace especially in the area of quality service and fulfilment of brand promise by brands.
According to him, the award is structured to ensure that consumers validate performing brands by rating them based on satisfaction derived from using them.
