SRTV Talent Expo set to discover and reward talents soon

In an effort to discover and harness talents in Nigeria, SRTV as an entertainment brand with strong online presence, is redefining reality shows through an initiative popularly known as “SRTV Talent Expo” conceived by a passionate and dynamic visionary leader, Ogbevire Christian Ashaiku.
In honour of the second edition of the Talents Expo, which will be kicking off from the 5th – 10th of December 2021, this year’s edition will be held at the Velodrome Facility, MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, Nigeria. This was disclosed during a press conference held at the NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The Convener, Mr. Ashaiku, who was unavoidably absent, and ably represented by Emerald Obahiagbon, said that SRTV Talent Expo is an annual star-studded topnotch recognition awards and talents hunt brand with the vision to celebrate exceptional individuals, who, through resilience, tenacity, as well as entrepreneurial and governance skills have been able to achieve success in all spheres of life.
According to him, the platform is geared towards showcasing outstanding individuals, not just within Nigeria, but also moving them out of the polite drawing rooms into the clamouring world.
In his words: “This show is aimed at talent discovery in Nigeria, while developing a balanced, fair, and transparent awards and talent hunt platform that will celebrate stand-out talents and celebrities. It will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for promising talents to emerge and excel.”
The conference also heralded the opportunity to unveil the much anticipated SRTV reality Television Show popularly known as the Next President TV Reality which has already kicked off with the ‘Next Governor Reality show’ across 36 states of the Federation. According to the organisers, winners from each state will battle it out on the next stage of ‘The Next President Reality Show’ which will hold in Abuja.
To help Nigeria of all ages to be provided with the right tool to showcase their talents, the platform is also giving an opportunity to recognize business icons and moguls in the Nigeria industry with the award programme called SRTV “Legendary Awards”, solely to celebrate, recognize and award those who have contributed immensely to the growth of the society.
Remarkably, the talent hunt and development brand intends to end the year memorably with the SRTV LEGENDARY AWARDS and the National selection of winners that will emerge from the interesting edition of the Next Governor, as they will proudly move to the next level, which is, the Next president competition.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Victor Otabor, Group Head, Strategy, Rinet, Ltd, a Consulting360 Integrated Marketing Communications company, noted that under the watch of Rinet Ltd, SRTV Talent Expo will be able to gain more strategic positioning in the entertainment and reality show space within a short period, as the agency promises to ensure strong market penetration of SRTV into the entertainment and reality show space, by pushing all its weight into launching out SRTV’s presence to the world.
“SRTV Talent Expo was a project that we saw and decided to support the vision by partnering with them. We hope that this awareness initiative will help promote this great project in its second edition. This project will not only make SRTV a known brand, but will also make it easier for marketing subsequently, especially in getting major sponsors because this have already helped to create the needed awareness,” Mr. Otabor said.
Elizabeth Olalere, the project manager, Rinet Integrated Marketing Communications, while assuring both the participants and viewers of a credible and trustworthy Talent Expo come December, stated they will be partnering with various media outlets to amplify the event, which will be streamed live.
“The SRTV brand will be leveraging various platforms and channels to publicise the event, as we will be partnering with various TV/Radio stations to make it an open programme. There is nothing to hide about the show; so it will be open to all to demonstrate its authenticity.”
She also assured winners of smiling home with various rewards ranging from cash prize, certificates and SRTV plaques. SR TV Talent Expo, in its bid to prove that talents when harnessed is profitable, is also poised to provide a long-term goal by ensuring to build a reputable brand which is solely recognised for equipping and empowering young people while exploring their crucial roles in national development.
The one-week long life event is a potpourri, filled with exciting and interesting activities, featuring film screening, entertainment and awards presentations experience, showcasing a true hub and a one-stop shop, where real talents are recognised, groomed and projected.
Amazingly, SRTV production in its short existence in operation in the entertainment space has positioned itself through some avant-garde projects to ensure that what it does, positively contribute to the viable creative industry. In areas such as: SRTV Moonlight Film Festival, Talent Hunt, Miss Intelligence TV Reality Show, Fashion Show and Contest, Cultural Dance and many more.

SRTV Talents Expo, a predominantly online streaming platform, which mainly features African and African-American content in various forms, such as movies, TV programmes, internet radio broadcast, print and online magazine.
