Temitope Jemerigbe announced as judge for 2021 Legacy Award in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales
Temitope Jemerigbe, CEO of DKK and Chairman, Women in Advertising (AAAN), is to be a part of an international and diverse judging panel for the 2021 Legacy Award. This month, Temitope will meet with the judging panel, made up of 19 other eminent personalities selected from around the world and chaired by Lord Spencer, to select the twenty winners from a pool of international nominations.
The 2021 Legacy Award Ceremony will be hosted by Lord Spencer, brother of Princess Diana, at Althorp House, Princess Diana’s family home, on 9 December 2021. The event, supported with funding by Gilead Sciences, will see twenty young people, from across the world, awarded for their humanitarian work.
The Legacy Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person can receive for his or her social action or humanitarian work. The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex presented the inaugural legacy awards at St. James’ Palace in 2017.
According to Temitope, who is the first and only African to be so appointed, “It is a great privilege to be invited to serve as a judge on this impressive initiative. Every participant is doing phenomenal work and making great impact in their communities. For me as an African member of the judging panel, the global reach and effect of the Legacy Award is personally felt. I congratulate all the winners on their incredible achievement.”

Legacy Award recipients will have access to a programme that provides them with the opportunity to enhance their skills in four key areas -; leadership, community development, social entrepreneurship and technology for good.
