StarTimes to offer Indian programmes in English, Yoruba
StarTimes subscribers across Africa can now enjoy their favourite Indian programmes more in English, Yoruba and six other languages from October. It will also launch a new Indian channel called Bollywood Africa across the African market.
The digital TV network’s ST Bollywood channel now wears a new look with enhanced language menu which was hitherto in Hindu. The channel will now offer English audio to viewers.
StarTimes’ Head of Public Relations, Mr. Israel Bolaji said: “While ST Bollywood has seven audio options, including English, Yoruba, French, Swahili, Portuguese, Luganda and Hindu with subtitles in English, French and Chinese; ST Bollywood Africa has audio options for Yoruba, Swahili and Luganda with subtitles in English.
Both channels are available to subscribers on Basic, Classic, Unique, Smart and Super bouquets.
ST Bollywood Africa in October will also feature numerous exciting new Indian movies starring popular icons like Abhay Deol, Soha Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn, Sonam Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Lara Dutta, Nishant Dahiya, Pragya Jaiswal, Arjun Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Pavan Malhotra Tia Bajpai and Shivam Nair in hit movies such as ‘Maharathi – The Titans’, ‘Once upon a time in Mumbai’, ‘Aisha’, ‘Bullet Raja’, ‘Bang Bang’, ‘Love Story 2050’ and many more.
