Steve Babaeko, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of X3M Ideas, has urged Nigerian creatives to harness their cultural identity for global success while also integrating international trends.

Speaking at the Leories Creative Connect in Lagos, Babaeko emphasized the importance of blending cultural nuances with global influences to enhance creative ingenuity and sustain international momentum. He encouraged professionals to think both locally and globally.

“If we choose to be unapologetically Nigerians, we can take creativity to the global stage, while in relentless pursuit for excellence. The time for Nigeria is actually now, if you want victory we have to go for it. If we don’t harness all the cultural endowments, others will steal it from us.”

Babaeko warned against neglecting cultural assets and urged Nigerians to adapt their work for international appeal, ensuring their stories and heritage gain worldwide recognition.
