Philip Morris elevates Adeleye Tejuosho as new Country Manager

Philip Morris International (PMI), a leading global tobacco company, has promoted Adeleye Tejuosho to the position of Country Manager.

Tejuosho brings 18 years of experience in the FMCG and telecommunications sectors, with substantial expertise in human resources and manufacturing operations.

Prior to his promotion, he served as National Sales Manager for PMI. He is a seasoned business leader with significant expertise in sales, digitization of trade tools, commercial planning, business strategy development, and consumer research and insights generation.

Announcing the promotion in a LinkedIn post, Tejuosho wrote, *”I am happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Country Manager at Philip Morris International.”*

In his role as National Sales Manager, he managed the distribution partner to ensure forecasted shipments and in-market sales were met. He also supported the distributor by ensuring their field sales force was equipped to achieve the company’s commercial objectives.

Tejuosho also worked with Airtel Nigeria as Manager of Research, where he delivered an online monitoring process that allowed Airtel to gather intelligence about the company, its products, competitors, and the industry. This process improved Airtel’s decision-making and enhanced its consumer offerings.

He also held a position in Strategic Planning and Insights at British American Tobacco (BAT), focusing on research and insights.

Tejuosho holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Yaba College of Technology and an MSc in Personnel Psychology from the University of Ibadan.
