Digital marketing strategist Peter Adesanya has taken on a new leadership assignment at Chain Reactions Africa, stepping into the role of Associate Director, Digital & Growth Marketing as the integrated communications agency deepens its focus on data driven growth, digital transformation, and performance marketing across business verticals.

The move marked another significant milestone in Adesanya’s career, which has spanned more than a decade across digital strategy, media planning, brand communications, consumer engagement, and growth marketing.

Adesanya disclosed the development through a LinkedIn post, where he expressed enthusiasm about joining the agency’s leadership team and contributing to its next phase of digital expansion.

“I’m excited to start a new role as Associate Director, Digital & Growth Marketing at Chain Reactions Africa,” he wrote, while acknowledging Franklin Ozekhome, Ovie Henry Eguridu, Ayoola Ogunyomi, and the agency’s Chief Visioneer, Israel Opayemi, for their support during his transition into the new position.

In his new capacity, Adesanya is expected to drive digital and growth marketing initiatives across multiple sectors, helping clients navigate rapidly changing consumer behaviour, emerging technologies, performance marketing demands, and evolving digital platforms.

The appointment further strengthened Chain Reactions Africa’s digital leadership bench with a professional widely recognised for combining strategic thinking, storytelling, audience intelligence, and measurable business outcomes.

Before joining Chain Reactions Africa, Adesanya built a strong reputation within Nigeria’s marketing communications ecosystem through leadership roles spanning digital strategy, brand growth, media relations, and campaign development.

His previous assignments included serving as Group Head of Strategy at The RedWolf Company, where he led strategic planning and digital innovation initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held key positions at All Seasons Zenith and Lilvera Group, overseeing digital campaigns and communications programmes for local and international brands.

Over the years, he worked on projects involving major organisations across the technology and fast moving consumer goods sectors, including Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Nestlé, and Arla, among others.

Beyond campaign execution, Adesanya became known for his thought leadership around digital culture, content evolution, and emerging technology. He consistently argued that sustainable success in the digital economy requires more than imitation, insisting instead on discipline, consistency, innovation, and continuous adaptation.

Academically, he earned a degree in Marketing from the University of Calabar before further strengthening his business credentials through a Mini MBA in Business Management from the International Business Management Institute and an MBA in Enabling E-commerce from Nexford University.

His professional affiliations also reflect a strong commitment to industry development. He is a member of the Association of Digital Marketing Professionals, an associate member of both the Chartered Institute of Administration and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, and previously served as a juror in the Young LAIFERS category at the 2024 and 2025 LAIF Awards.

As digital transformation continues reshaping how brands build relationships with consumers, industry observers will be watching closely to see how Adesanya deploys his experience and strategic capabilities to accelerate growth and strengthen digital marketing performance across Chain Reactions Africa’s client portfolio.

This version makes the role central to the headline, opens with the significance of the move, and reads more like a business leadership story than a routine appointment notice.
