OLX, NAN build stronger relationship
Leading online classifieds site OLX and the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) are building a stronger relationship in collaboration.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the office of NAN on Tuesday, Lola Masha, Country Manager, OLX said the purpose of the visit is to build a stronger tie and to partner with NAN, while thanking the agency for a good hosting.
She expressed delight over the professionalism in the way NAN reports stories, and how wide their coverage is.
Answering questions from journalists, Masha revealed that “competition in the classifieds has been good to OLX because it makes us find new ways to improve the platform and serve people better.”
About the vision of OLX in the next few years, she said “it is to become a true household brand in Nigeria.”
NAN’s Director of Marketing Kate Popoola said NAN has coverage in New York, Ivory Coast and South Africa among others, in addition to their offices in every states of Nigeria.
“Among the exciting things about NAN is that we have a studio in Abuja and about to establish one in Lagos. We are looking to establish a tourism as well as entertainment desk.”
She continued “NAN product include sport news, economic news, feature news, NAN Biscom, NAN Mobile and NAN Photo.”
NAN took OLX on a tour of the various department of the building complex, including news room, multipurpose hall, and studio.
