MTN launches Lucky Number, N100 Million cash prize
Telecommunications service provider, MTN has announced ‘Lucky number’, a daily lottery service that allows subscribers enter their number to sequentially match a randomly selected MTN number from the pool of the total (MTN) active subscriber base.
Players can subscribe/register for the service by sending the keyword “WIN” to the short code “4445”. Note that the keyword is not case sensitive. Participants will then receive an SMS reply confirming registration; however, they will be placed in the daily draw after a successful deduction of N50.
According to MTN, you can register for the service with no airtime however you will be required to top up to enter the day’s draw.
“When you are charged, subscription for the day’s draw will be open till 23:59 but every subscription from 00:00 onward will be entered in the next day’s draw; You will be charged ONCE daily to enter into the daily draw and this will be done every day; To opt-out of the service, SMS “Stop WIN” to 4445 and an SMS will be sent to you to confirm that you have been removed from the service; SMS announcing the last 5 digits of the drawn number will be sent to all participating customers; All winners will receive SMS informing them that they have won and what the prize amount is; Winners will receive the cash prize after they have been called upon to do the necessary verification which also entails collecting their banking details; Airtime prize will be received instantly after the announcement of the winning number.”
MTN customers stand to win lots of prizes and airtime rewards ranging from N200 airtime to N100 Million cash.
To participate in the Lucky Number draw, subscribers are required to send the codes for the different price points; Text EC to 4445 at N10, Text MX to 4445 at N20, Text LN to 4445 at N50 and Text LK to 4445 at N200.
