InDrive invests N70m to boost driver, passenger safety

The global mobility and urban services platform, inDrive, has invested over 70 million Naira to boost the safety of drivers and passengers in Nigeria.
These funds are to be used to provide safety helmets and jackets for inDrive drivers, highlighting the company’s dedication to improving safety standards in urban mobility within the country.
This initiative has been met with immense joy from the drivers, who express gratitude for this laudable endeavour. They emphasize that such actions not only enhance their safety, but also foster a greater sense of trust.
The project is part of inDrive’s broader strategy, as the company introduces its Safety Pact. This pact not only reflects inDrive’s emphasis on safety but also serves as a comprehensive guide for both passengers and drivers. Through this initiative, inDrive actively promotes and encourages safe practices among its users.
The Safety Pact has a dual purpose. Firstly, it introduces specific features that users can utilize to ensure a safer ride-hailing experience. Additionally, it offers a wide range of safety recommendations along with a code of conduct to ensure that every trip taken through the inDrive platform is not only enjoyable but also firmly rooted in optimal safety standards.
