IDL unveils rebranded Eagle Schnapps

Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL), has unveiled a rebranded version of its flagship product, Eagle Schnapps. The unveiling was done by the Alake of Egba Land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, yesterday at the company’s 2016 Distributors Award Ceremony’ held at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The new look Eagle Schnapps ranges from the I litre Emperor pack, 75cl Majesty and 3cl Mini pack.

The rebranding exercise according to the company was inspired by the need to re-engaged consumers, and remind them of the brand proposition and value of Eagle Schnapps, which is one of the leading brand in the Schnapps segment.

At the ceremony which was full of excitement and celebration, IDL rewarded its numerous distributors with various categories of awards including cash prizes and gifts items worth about N3million.

Managing Director, Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL), Engr. Patrick Anegbe said at the event that the award ceremony said that the award ceremony was geared towards rewarding the hard work and diligent of the distributors, explaining that, without the partnership of the customers, the company would not have been able to achieve its set goals for the year.

According to him: ”The yearly award has been our standout instrument with which we reward our distributors for their patronage and loyalty. In the last ten years, the scheme has grown by leaps and bounds and has further enhanced the performance and businesses of our distributors”

“I can boldly say that our brands compare favourably with any product produced anywhere in the world. That is why our company’s manufacturing processes are ISO certified. We are a major stakeholder in the recent government’s policy which encourages the Made-in Nigerian Products” Anegbe said.

Giving an update of the company’s products in the last one year, Anegbe said that Action Bitters and Commodore Schnapps were recently re-lunched into the market just as the Squadron and Chelsea In-Bar Promotions and the Bull Fuji Talent Hunt are making waves in the South-West, adding that the firm have also been engaging its numerous customers through the traditional and digital platforms.

The presentation of awards to the distributors was by the National Sales Manager, IDL, Mr. Vincent Orhomre. The cash prizes ranges from N160,000 to N2million and gift items like single door refrigerator, 42 Inches television screen amongst others were give out.

One of the winners of the award, Mr. Kelvin Godwin of Kriz Stores Ltd, who won a cash prize of N313,600 with a single door refrigerator said that he was proud of the firm for rewarding its customers.

“This company is a Nigerian brand that has encouraged Nigerians far and wide. I feel happy. I feel that in my own country, there are still few companies that reward their customers and elevate them from their present position to a higher standard of feeling pleased with the job that you have done for them,” Godwin.
